The man who has a thousand camera and is rumoured to smash them all after writing a review. That is certainly true for both Bill and especially Alex in their own research for reviews and feeding their personal GAS. For Mike, the interest was always there, his father for example was the family photographer and always capturing. And while he initially started with some Canon Point-And-Shoots and a Nikon DSLR. The Nikon is what got him looking at 35mm again and picked up a rather beat up Nikkormat EL2 on eBay. Well, one thing eventually leads to 300. And while he openly admits to owning a large number of cameras, most that he reviews these days are loaners. As for his source of a lot of his research he is fairly well connected and has a lot of access to scans of older camera magazines and knows authors who have written on the subject. But admits that a lot of it is luck! But not all cameras are top-notch, the Argus V100 and most Koni-Omegas are among the cameras that have given him the most problems. But most cameras, the Kodak Medalist, for example, are easily figured out given enough time.
