For the most part, we do stick to the most common and readily available from Ilford, their Multigrade papers are a great place to start. But other papers we’ve used include Adox, Kentmere, Kodak, and even Foma with beautiful results. As for chemistry, most of us stick to Kodak Dektol and usual tone with Selenium.

Griffen Battery at Ghettysburg – Printed on Ilford MGIV RC Satin – Kodak Dektol (1+2) 1:00, Toned with Selenium (1+4) 2:30

Looking for a good spot to get your gear and material fix check out Burlington Camera (Burlington, ON), Downtown Camera (Toronto, ON), Film Plus (Toronto, ON), Belle Arte Camera (Hamilton, ON), Pond’s FotoSource (Guleph, ON), Foto Art Camera (Owen Sound, ON).
