Established in 2013 by MainStreetHost and taken on by Alex Luyckx Photography in 2015, #photochat is a community of photography professionals and enthusiasts who congregate to talk shop and discuss anything and everything photography. After a brief pause through 2023 Photochat is back with a monthly chat model. To participate in our monthly chat (every Second Thursday at 1:00 pm), search the #photochat hashtag on BlueSky Social to see the conversation, or find me at @alexluyckxphoto.bsky.social on BlueSky. Include the hashtag in your posts to answer the questions and talk with the other participants.

Question 1 – What if you could bring back one film stock from the past to full production? What would that be?
Question 2 – What if you could get any complete camera system? What would that system be (including lenses)?
Question 3 – What if you could spend a day with one photographer? Who would you choose, and what would you do?
Question 4 – What if you could go anywhere (or any time)? Where would you go, what would you photograph, and what kit would you bring?
Question 5 – Share a photo of a What If that was fulfilled for you! (A location, Kit, ect)!
