I first discovered the world of Urban Exploration in 2004, I was working a coop position that allowed a bit of free time to surf the Internet and starting looking at the history of the TTC and came across mentions of abandoned stations in Toronto. Specifically Lower Bay, well that sent me down a rabbit hole and into the world of UE. Over the course of many years I was poking my head into many buildings and photographing them. And it was through UE that I saw my photography improve, in style, technique, technical knowledge and gear. And while I have ‘hung up’ my flashlight, I still look back at these places. So in 2024 I started to collect some of my favourite locations into blog posts and ‘zines to share the story of the place and the stories from the place.
