It’s hard to believe that I have been writing camera reviews for ten years now! I also can’t believe that I’ve been able to continue to write camera reviews for ten years. Of course I have slowed down on the number of reviews a year since I started in 2015 but it has also made this series far more sustainable. When it comes to 160-Speed film, to mee it seems like a bit of an odd duck, 100, 125, are pretty standard, but 160 I’ve only seen colour films rated that way. But enter Silberra Pan160, a touch faster than it’s 100-Speed Cousin, but not as fast as the 200-Speed. It must be a Russian thing moving from the GOST scale. I’ll be the first to admit, the relationship between me and Soviet-built cameras has been a rocky one. My first experience with Soviet cameras was with the Zenit B (this camera’s meterless cousin), it’s lack of automation was my downfall.
