  1. Dear Alex,

It is a real treat to explore “your places” and reminders of another era. The sense of history feels very personal.

Have you ever contemplated, exploring public clocks, such as found in city places, towers, churches. Being from Europe, I find public clocks sadly missing in the vistas around us.

Thanks for sharing your great work with us out there in the wild:-)

    Cheers,
    Gerhard,

      1. Hi Alex,

Just stumbled over tour reply. Thanks for the link. Lovely! After a 20+ year hiatus I have decided now or never (I am 71) and converted my basement bathroom to a darkroom. Cameras here are a Konica T3, Canonette QL17 and a Rolleiflex 3.5F, all waiting to “see” the world. I am beginning to explore Alberta photo themes and rediscover also Edmonton. It is different here, comoared to where you live. But Alberta waits to be discovered. I am interested in both nature and architectural and street photography.
Anyhow, I am admiring your engagement, both in the photography as well as the historical background information.

        Cheers,
        Gerhard
